Being a bird whilst wearing thongs, and crashing

so, i watched this several times. It looks to me like Jonny was correcting a right turn by shifting his weight left. During the correction he "fell" of the rope(steel cable?), causing the loading on the glider to suddenly increase. Perhaps if he had stopped trying to correct the turn the moment he started to fall off the rope?

Anyway... I thought the change in loading on the glider was the root cause of the over-correction

there's quiet a bit of rotor in that corner when it's coming from north of west. site is ~W. rotored; got crossed up; right wing out front and into lift band; left wing back in compression/rotor. doomed from there. ..but, who knows?
