A comparison between the HTC Titan and the Samsung Focus S, two of AT&T's high end Windows 7.5 Mango phones. Both run on the same Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU, have 16 gigs of storage, 8MP rear cameras, HSPA+ 4G and nearly identical battery capacity. You can check out our reviews of each phone individually as well. Here is our full comparison: http://www.mobiletechreview.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Number=41802

  • I have to reply again now: The response on the Focus S is actually better than the Titan. Try this: do a rapid up and down motion on the homescreen with your thumb. Like, flick it up and down quickly like if you were a DJ spinning a record. The Titan has a looser scroll to it than the Focus S, which has a much tighter feel to it. MTR your bias is showing.

  • @jbrandonf Honestly, both are great phones! There is reason that the Titan is AT&T's top selling phone in Q4.

  • did you say they dont have adobe flash player?

  • @bellajacklil Yes, we did. They don't support Adobe Flash.

  • Lisa, I love your reviews! i tried the TITAN and the Focus S and i really do like the TITAN better. I'm dying to buy one so I can finally replace my aging HD2 which is a pain the a**. the size of the HD2 compared to the TITAN is fairly the same with exception of being a mm higher than the HD2. Oh, and one more thing, if you thought that text would look jagged cause of its resolution, it does not cause i zoomed in on a site and the text was crisp and the colors are amazing

  • @XxaddamsxX Hope you get the Titan!

  • Cool review...

  • @MobileTechReview it means you can not play youtube videos in browser !! :(

  • 6:54 phone dialer looks like calculator on android..

  • Samsung focus s display is way better than the titan display.

  • Fantastic review. The Titan/Titan 2 weren't on my radar at all, but now I'm warming up to 'em...

  • Which phone is better?

  • i like it how i saw a galaxy nexsus ad

  • @TheFashizy I actually like plastic, its durable =) I've dropped my original focus onto the concrete so many times and it escaped each with either no visible marks or a few scuffs, and the gorilla glass held up even better. Some of their phones seem indestructible. I had an HTC Aria and dropped it once and the screen shattered. I've had Samsung ever since.

  • @SpecTechHD Theres numerous YouTube apps that work very well. Flash for mobile has been discontinued so there is no point for them to support it. The iPhone does well without it, and i know a good bit of android users have flash set to on demand or off, as I do on my backup android phone. Its great for videos but not great for all the flash ads that kill the browsing experience, HTML5 works very well on WP7 for websites that support it. If flash is a must, then I would reccomend an android phone

  • This video is informative, but extremely slow paced.
