  • Excuse me...are you a medical student? Your explanation to the comment above yours is very clinical in verbage.

  • Correct me if i`m wrong but is Torsades-de-pointe another way of saying flatline.

Would really love to know cause i`m joining the Seattle Fire Department in a few month`s.

  • Torsades-de-pointe is a type of ventricular tachycardia. It's referred to as polymorphic V-Tach, Poly meeting arising from many points.

  • @Seahawksfan951 Actually it is a funky V-Fib

  • lol seahawk your a retard

  • No, torsades de points is not flatline. Flatline is literally a flatline. Torsades de points means twisting at the point. Its a ventricular arrhythmia.

  • its not....a flatline wud be asystole. TDP means twisting of points on an isoelectric baseline. tdp is a polymorphic variant of v tach in which there is variation of QRS from beat to beat. asystole absence of electrical and mechanical activity of the ventricles hence no QRS but u may get p waves. good luck

  • One of my students ask me to post some rithm videos on YouTube. When I looked at the rithm videos already posted they didn't seem very long or very clear.
