No, torsades de points is not flatline. Flatline is literally a flatline. Torsades de points means twisting at the point. Its a ventricular arrhythmia.

its not....a flatline wud be asystole. TDP means twisting of points on an isoelectric baseline. tdp is a polymorphic variant of v tach in which there is variation of QRS from beat to beat. asystole absence of electrical and mechanical activity of the ventricles hence no QRS but u may get p waves. good luck

Correct me if i`m wrong but is Torsades-de-pointe another way of saying flatline.
Would really love to know cause i`m joining the Seattle Fire Department in a few month`s.

Torsades-de-pointe is a type of ventricular tachycardia. It's referred to as polymorphic V-Tach, Poly meeting arising from many points.
