This is an introduction video I made for Marine Corporal Aaron Mankin. Cpl Mankin was badly wounded when engaging in Operation Matador in eastern Iraq. Cpl Mankin spoke at The Summit Business Persons' Luncheon at The Church at Pinnacle Hills on November 8, 2007. Special thanks to Cpl Mankin for his selfless service to his fellow Americans.

  • the only war service reagan ever saw was on a movie set!

  • @luciferiexcelsil Yep...better things to do.

  • @AeroSharkTech "I... speak from experience. You speak from T.V" I wish it would've been T.V, I'd truly wish it would've been alien to me, and that I would've had at least the chance to hold a gun in my hand like you did, knowing that there were many covering my back and knowing that my family was thousands of kilometres away safe, watching T.V. Again, you're just an over-privileged 1st world person who happened to choose to go to war, for many of us in the world, we had no choice.

  • @luciferiexcelsil Like I said, I can speak from experience. You speak from TV. I've got better things to do than listen to you talk about things you've never lived. Peace.

  • @AeroSharkTech What makes you so sure you've somehow had it harder than anyone else? Being a soldier isn't shit compared to the horrors of being a civilian in the middle of an armed conflict, where one becomes just 'collateral damage' and you are at the mercy of mere luck and hope that a bullet doesn't go through your mother, brother or sister, also hoping that bastards don't come in to ravage and rape what's left of your family. You're just another over-privileged 1st world fuck, that's all.

  • @luciferiexcelsil No asshole, it doesn't mean I'm proud of shit. It means I've lived through horrors you've only seen on TV. For me it was reality. I'm not naive at all jackass.

  • @AeroSharkTech "I've shed mens' blood in three other countries" What is that supposed to even mean? that you are proud killing people? I'm sorry, but you are pretty naive, just read what you write man, lol.

  • @luciferiexcelsil Please dude, I've shed mens' blood in three other countries. I know dirt you can't even imagine. And we're not the only ones with it. I'm not naive buddy.

  • @AeroSharkTech I'm not antagonising the U.S, I'm merely pointing out how your country's shirt is not as clean as you may think, not because your country is evil or anything, just because Americans forgot that democracy is about distrusting your government and holding it responsible for all its actions. Nationalism destroys true democracy, as it makes the citizens think that anything the government does is justifiable as long as its done in the nation's name.

  • @luciferiexcelsil US wasn't the only one to commit horrible crimes either, but we're the only ones who take the wrap for it. I guess it's because we do 90% of the work. Oh well.
