You've bought in to the false paradigm of competition: got to be a "have" and keep down the "have nots." If we devoted 1% of our resources to true diplomacy, real education, etc., militarism would become a relic of the past, where it belongs. What we've done instead is to inflame the hatred, fear and resentment. Too many gov't contractors make $ off the status quo and THAT is why nothing is changing. Throw the bums out; create a Dept. of Peace, change the world.
