when i first heard this fighting the fleet that destroyed Kharak, it felt like it was designed amplify the anger and hatred. I duly respected that and smashed those Taiidan's!

After more than 10 years you still cant find a similar game than Homeworld! This game is just epic...

Meh, sure homeworld and cataclysm's story was better and more dramatic, but I still like homeworld 2 because of the graphics but mostly because of how you can use more strategy, like now you have shipyards or you need to destroy an engine module so the enemy can't retreat.
Still though, I probably like cataclysm best because of the story, music, and the skirmish maps are so large and diverse.

The only reasons for them looking human in the 1st place is so that players would feel more sympathy towards their plight(would u really care if a 6-legged,chitin armored species's home world was under attack?),and ofc, the "language barrier" problem.
This has greatly improved the gaming experience;the decision of making them human will be story related and is something for the designers to decide,thus completely irrelevant to argue about...SO DON'T!!!
