that actually isn't true at all... the lakers have a avg margin of victory of 8.7, while the cavs are at 5.5...

to be fair, you really cant make either of these arguments. it is a team sport and lots of hall of fame players don't/didn't get a legitimate chance for a title because of the lack of a supporting cast. but at the same time you can't give the edge to lebron over kobe because he took his team to the finals from the east and kobe was 6th. the west was stacked and the east was historically bad. if the players switched were switched we probably would have had similar results.
