I would like to thank you for this video! I have the service manual but my belt is like goo also and I was not sure how to route it, so as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words Thanks again!!!
I totally agree with the previous poster, I just pulled the old belt out of my A3340 and it was completely "goo" leaving black sticky stuff on everything it touches both surfaces are as sticky as glue now and will need to be cleaned with solvent like lacquer thinner they are so gooped up.
Thank you for the video but you should have cleaned the flywheels with some isopropyl alcohol prior to putting the new belt on. The old belt was visibly sticking as the result of it partially being melted and this left residue which should have been clean out.
Do you have a video of belt tightening for a TEAC X-10R?
BTW... what is that COOL music at 2:20. Sounds like a Hammond B3.
