Produced by http://www.PangealityProductions.com In 2005, a Tibetan family from Seattle sent their 5 year old son to Nepal to be raised as a monk and revered leader in the making. As a direct lineage holder from the Sakya tradition, Sakya Dhungsey Asanga Vajra Rinpoche has been living and studying at The Tharlam Monastery in Kathmandu. In March of 2009, I returned to Nepal to shoot 3 stories connecting Seattle and Nepal for the Seattle Channel. Learn more at http://www.PangealityProductions.com

This is an incredibly heartwarming and uplifting story. This is also very well done! Kudos to you all those in the making of it. I have shared it with my family and friends and we all love it. Thank you very, very much. Please do a follow up story on this amazing young lama to let us all know how he is doing. Your video makes me want to go to Nepal to meet him in person. Thank you once again for a job well done and beautiful story well told.

What a great story! So incredibly uplifting! Thank you so much. It is such a beautiful story showing so much promise and hope. With the Tibetan race and religion on the brink of destruction for a people without a free country to call their own, it is reassuring to learn that there are those that are really trying to preserve something that is precious and sacred. What a relief to see that this family is keeping the faith and practice that has been uniquely Tibetan for centuries.
