Here is an epic scene from "The Last of the Mohicans" film. I decided to upload my version because the audio for the other HD one was up-scaled in volume in such a way that loud percussive sounds like gunshots were painful to the ears; so in other words, the volume was off balance significantly to a point of discomfort.

The video was prepared using Adobe Premiere Pro CS4:
Video Settings
Codec: MainConcept H.264
Resolution: 1920 by 1080 (16:9)
Framerate: 23.976
Profile: Main
Level: 4.2
Bitrate: 32 Mbps (CBR)

Audio Settings
Codec: AAC
Channels: Stereo
Frequency: 48 kHz
Bitrate: 320 kbps
Precedence: Bitrate

  • What kind of weapon does chingachgook have??

  • @CKabayan hehe I wonder about that.

  • @DieDicken o lol nice one, haha ya that quote from the last samurai was one worth remembering, thanks for bringing it up : )

  • 6:22 that look Alice gives Magua...that LOOK. For a girl who was only a teenager at the time, she managed to capture so much heartbreak in just one look. Absolutely beautiful movie, one of my all time favorites!

  • alice & uncas...this kind of love doesn't exist any more..</3

  • @CKabayan Called a gun stock war club.

  • it's called a gunstock war club. it's based on muskets. the grip looks like a barrel, the blade/point looks like the flintlock, and the end looks like a stock.

  • Does Jodhi May have any lines in this film?

  • 8:16 agile move for an old man...

  • @CKabayan gunstock club

  • @CKabayan ak-47 :)

  • why does nobody mention duncan...that's one of the most noble, heroic, selfless deeds I ever seen...

  • Chingachgook is a bad ass

  • @CKabayan The Iroquois basically had two types of war clubs, the ga-je'-wa and ga-ne-u'-ga-o-dus-ha. The first was typically made from a type of ironwood with a large ball at the head. It was about two feet long and the ball was five or six inches in diameter. The second, which means 'deer-horn war club', was often an elaborately carved and painted hardwood club. On the bottom were sharpened deer horn in points of three to four inches.

  • Powerful scenes.
