  • That is a nice burble! Must do something about my SV6's exhaust: there's plenty of thrust when I drop my foot but the fun is lost because it sounds like a vacuum cleaner.

  • @videowilliams I miss the old boy sold it to my neices BF :(.

It seems hard to get the exhaust right in the alloytech engine. One maybe i could recommend would be X-force or anything lukey is great sounding. I just heard that vacuum the other night lol. It really has a loud induction sound.

  • @SlickHolden yeah man its a sweet litte package, its cheap to run but still gives that performing edge

  • @spectre2776 i'd probably drive with it on all the time lol. must be a much better system than the one in my VT. i guess the alloytec is that much more advanced and it's computer system would be able to do that much more than the older stuff.

  • @SlickHolden its a power button located on the gear stick panel, it dumps extra fuel into the chambers and increases the length of the shifts to add power, it somehow increases throttle response at the same time, i dont know if its just me, but i get better performance with it on, (although alot more feul gets consumed, so it kills the economy)

  • @spectre2776 I was watching the VZ but it went from $4500 to $5700.still a real good price. i was playing with a vh 6 with a cam tonight at several lights. he wanted to take it further but i was to wise for out and out street dragging lol. lights bang speed limit done lol.. what's this button it's got me interested.

  • @SlickHolden 04 exec would be sweet dude, hahah i like your traffic light comment ;) the SVZ has a nice little button on the gear panel that increases fuel intake and gear timing, its VERY helpful to me

  • @spectre2776 I like car gadgets lol. i like comfort.. i stuffed $30 in the VP last week and drove it for 2 days, empty. fill the VT with $92 of ultimate fuel and it goes 450km+, something the VP can't achieve anymore. ok if i see any SVZ'S at the lights i will leave them be lol.

I was looking at a 04 executive with 97,000km and was considering it $5,700, but to be honest i'd much rather score a vz calais i like that body kit interior set-up.

  • @SlickHolden all i can say is, its a quicker, safer and more comfortable, but is essentially an old commodore at heart, its like pimping out a vp with gadgets and accessories. the difference comes in with the fuel bill, when i drove my 93 vp full time, i would look at 50-60 dollars a week, with my new SVZ, its close to 30, and i only refuel twice a month, and when u say off the mark, i assume u mean take off? trust me dude, i RAPE at the traffic lights as long as im competing with v6 and under

  • @spectre2776 What are they like off the mark any good like the old buick v6 ?. i'd love the alloytech motor in a VP, but as i have got older i enjoy the laid back comforts, cruise control auto softer suspension lol.
