@Tuber77 That is what I meant by ''pro-reason''. I meant simply supporting common sense. And what do you actually mean when you say that atheists do not have common sense?
Well, the ads were never meant to be ''anti-religion'', they were meant to be ''pro-reason'', so by all these conservatives using that argument, they are just proving themselves wrong.
@logicnreason1 If religion is defined as a group spending money to spread an idea then the use of the word is obsolete and we might just as well define a new word: Relifaith: Defined as faith in a supernatural being or other supernatural entities or forces. Fortunately, the later is religion, it has nothing to do with spending money, so we won't need this new word.
War? Well, so much for "peaceful" christianity. What the atheists are really trying to do with actions like this, according to David Silverman, is to draw out closeted atheists and get them to speak up for themselves. There are a lot more of us out there than we sometimes think.
Criticizing science is taboo according to the arrogant attitude of atheists. Fortunately, I have something in store for them. We will not take their nasty billboards and technocratic evangelizing laying down.

@clubpenguinsux1 As a Agnostic. I rather have Sign that are "Pro-Common Sense". Which most Atheist/Anti-Theist have none.

I love how this news channel explicitly says "yes, that's it. the ONLY reason they were put up is to offend people. "

These are ads I can get behind.
They dont attack other beliefs as "Myth" but make the point that non religious americans have a voice!
The TV ads by the Humanists group wasnt bad... kinda.
It attacked an old piece of the bible, pointing out injustices in the text, that no one except lunatics follow anymore.
Not a friendly ad but really isant anything more than a jab.
Non-religious Americans shouldnt be afraid because they arent going to be persecuted. Nobody cares about atheists.

What a low grade piece of biased journalism, they should be ashamed.
