Although the story was incredibly-written, in my opinion, just how many times do we hear the phrases "Don't listen, it's just a trick." or "We have to rid of her of this evil." Although John refers to the evil inside of her as Satan when she was levitating, they also refer to it numerous times as a demon, once as "an incredibly-powerful demon". So, was she possessed by the Devil, Satan, himself, or just a powerful minion of his?
