Yeah, but at the time when Lucy made her debut back in 1986, GH really didn't have a major villian on the show for awhile since Heather Webber. Lucy did fill the gap for the moment until the writers started to change her. What I was pointing out is that Lucy Coe went from a character you love to hate, to more so of a character you love to laugh at (like Tracey is now). I personally thought they should had kept Lucy Coe more as a villian, that's all I was stating.

The writers should have played up the rival or conflict between Lucy and Olivia. This is when Lucy Cole was similar to Heather Webber as far as being more devious. Unfortunately the writers on GH back then, missed a big opportunity here. Not only was it stupid to kill off Olivia, but they did even worst by turning the Lucy Cole character more into a comical one as if she was on a sitcom!
