Ryhalis Productions present the penultimate installment of The Variety Pack 2010, Duncan Gets Spooked. The audio story is based on the television story by David Mitton & Britt Allcroft, as well as the grimmer true event that the story was based on from Dartmoor, where a train plummetted from a bridge and into a marshland, where the engine and crew remained buried for over 50 years before recovery...

* Duncan Gets Spooked audio adaptation is written by Ryan Healy & Simon Martin
* 'The Wee Train On The Iron Bridge' poem is written and performed by Ryan
* Accompanying music by Kevin McLeod
* Visuals directed by Eric Ryan

Audio will be available for download in October from Sodor Island Fansite:

  • I'm expecting to see a video of this... But why add trucks in the ghost story? Wasn't it just a lone steam engine?

  • @Bakanaben2 In the TV Series story, yes, but the original event which we believe inspired the story involved, as described in the audio story, trucks being moved across a trestle bridge, becoming derailed and dragging the engine down with them. Pretty much, Simon and I took more creative liscence on the piece and made it darker than the TV airing.

  • when shall we see this masterpiece released

  • @ShunterProductions The audio will be released on SiF first, and then it will be added to the Fansite about a week or two later before Halloween, co-inciding with another video that will be on the site's front page that week.

  • were can i find the real stroy about this vid?

  • @stardestroyerNX01 I'm still waiting to receive scans of the articles relating to the original incident, but when I do have them, a full report will be posted on Sodor Island Fansite to tell the full story.

  • I didn't see it in the SiF forums. Where is it?

  • Wow...

Just realising that the story Rusty told in the episode was actually based of a true story justr made this episode a lot scary...

  • @LionelThomas100 Thank you very much for your comment, I'm glad you enjoyed the audio and that it's done so well since it's release on the Fansite. It's been worth the time and effort ploughed into it.
