  • Listen to the context of the phrase "new world order" in the song. You seem a bit too shocked to have understood the actual meaning.

And yeah, him and a lot of other decent, normal people are supporting Obama. Chill out.

  • Brilliant! Bruce is a living legend and it's gigs like this that will guarantee he'll be on a U.S. Stamp someday as a great American.

  • @Sundogjeep Make something on myself? .. Hmmm, like trolling on youtube comments pages as you seem to do? Pro tip. I cant wait.

When you grow out of your mental and emotional adolescence, give me a yell.

  • @exxcalibur1973 ..."The so called new world order is one where the working classes are impoverished and disenfranchised. Of course Springsteen would take this position. He has a deep and profound compassion for ordinary America."

ROFL, does he now? Did he take the ordinary American home with him to his mansion on his private jet? What a bunch of fucked up silly assed saps you guys are. Just make something of yourself.

  • great!! One of my fave Bruce songs.

  • then why is he supporting obama? Democrats and Republican's are one in the same...socialism capitalism communism...same shit different angle

  • TKD, The NEW World Order he derides in the song is the one which Bush the elder proclaimed to when he spoke of America martially dominating the world .. and the money that is spent on the the military, for example, while the people like Tom Joad suffer the hardship of Economic relativism.

The so called new world order is one where the working classes are impoverished and disenfranchised. Of course Springsteen would take this position. He has a deep and profound compassion for ordinary America

  • Yeah, you know I lost alot of respect for him for that.

What a drag. This has nothing to do with Obama's campaign.

I mean seriously lets cut taxes for the small majority of money (the lower class). Then we ll raise taxes on high class and industry. Who do you think will pay those higher taxes?

Ding ding, yep you and me. You think the companies are going to say "Oh poop I wont make that much money this year" Screw that they ll pass it to you and I! Thanks Obama asshat! 4 LONG YEARS, OH GREAT!

  • wow,this sounds like shit.

  • Maybe he'll run for office some day.
