it's odd to me that a radochla is still in the COP, would it even still be possible?

@vespertined The Shushunova release is deceptively simple-looking. It has the look of a Markelov, but instead of simply swinging freely over the bar, the gymnast uses a series of two half turns to get over it. Shushunova herself shows it the best--you can see how she ever-so-briefly pauses in her half-turns. It takes a lot of strength and perfect timing for that.

Great montage! But the first Li Ya is not a Li Ya - it's a jaeger to a cross-grip catch. The turning comes after the gymnast (Parente?) has caught the bar, not before.
