Logan and Duncan stopped being friends with Veronica, after Duncan broke it off with her, because he found out his best friend had feelings for her too.

Then one day everything changes when Logan breaks down and Veronica is there for him, they go back to being friends.

When Duncan tries to talk to her, she avoids him, because she's angry for the way he treated her after the breakup.

Then a drunken Duncan jumps off the bleachers and Veronica takes care of him, after he invites her to go out as friends.

That same day, Logan stops by after her date with Duncan, and tells her the real reason Duncan broke up with is because he cares for her too and asks her to the dance.

Then Duncan makes her more confused when he admits he misses Veronica.

So Veronica goes to Logan and explains she can't be with him for now, but agrees to be his date.

At the dance Veronica is heartbroken to see Duncan with his new girlfriend, and a wasted Logan who forgot to pick her up.Crying she leaves the dance....
