@bassistnickwebster Goattracker is a tracker made for creating C64 music. It allows good control of what sound you get and uses C64 emulation to output the sound. You don't need to know basic, but because goattracker uses a tracker interface it won't be easy to learn how to use it if you haven't had former experience with trackers.

Ok, can i ask a slightly stupid question? What is Goattracker? Is it a sequencer like Logic pro, Cubase, pro tools etc only its for creating C64 music?? Please enlighten me... I am really interested in creating my own C64 music is this the best way? Ive experimented using c64 samples in logic pro, which is ok, but there isn't much control over manipulating the sounds etc....please help! oh and is it easy to use? do you need a knowledge of programming a C64 in basic or anything like that?

I dont understand why this is considered a great piece, First of all its stolen instruments from a goattracker example tune, second of all ITS NOT A GREAT COMPISITION, it has no order no varition and overall, it sux balls.
