Metal Detecting Iowa Fairgrounds 10-02-11. 6 Silvers, 8 Nickles, 7 Indians.

Metal detected 10 hours at a old fairgrounds that shut down in the early thirties. Found v nickels,Indian penny, barber dime, Mercury dime and a watch fab.. Dennis found a Seated dime, Mercury dimes, Sheild nickel , V Nickel, Indian, Wheat pennies, 4 Brass rings etc.

That looks like a pretty cool and tempting place to be hunting silver and everything else that's nice. Fairgrounds should have coins a plenty, since people tend not to notice when they drop things if having a good time. Congratulations to both of you on your awesome finds. Good luck hunting your next choice of sites, though personally I'd give that fair site a good going over again :D

I hope your planning on hitting that place over and over again! That place will produce every time I bet. Great finds! Maybe at end of video you should show all your finds cleaned up and close to camera, I know i would love to see that. Good luck on next hunt!
