I am forever indebt to all those who faught, and all those who died fighting so I may be free. It seems wrong that we only choose one day a year to honour those who gave so much for those they dont know. I feel so proud to be Canadian everyday of the year, but this day swells the pride to uncontrollable amounts. To all our boys and girls, who died in fights on foreign land, I give you my humble thanks and I stand in awe of you this day. God Bless you all.

Quizno007 . This is just simply beautiful. I remember reading this poem whn I was studying "First World War" in school. I am an Indian and will say that this poem is very powerful and one that certainly affects me as it has always made think about it. This is a well made video and is well worth watching and listening. Tomorrow is the remembrance day where I live and for certain I will be wearing a poppy as I do every year.

This poem inspired me to write a song. A live version of it, "The5 Man Army - In Flanders Fields" is uploaded on my youtube channel. We hope to record it properly some time soon. Probably my favourite poem of all time.

Another Canadian Hero that his beloved country has all but, forgotten about. As well as that of the other Commonwealth Countries. Yet, we can change this. Our children should be taught about his amazing life. And to teach them what real HEROES ARE OR WERE !! LEST WE FORGET ANY OF THEM WHO LET US SLEEP PEACEFULLY AND LIVE FREELY EVERYDAY. R.I.P. JOHN McCrae !!!!

Let's just face it, Canada's armed forces were under estimated and kicked butt in WW1. They're still an amazing force to behold usually beating the US military guys in war games. This was nicely done. Happy remembrance day
Thank you very much. It took alot of work, a very hounourable man to study.
