Bush is trying to protect phone companies who VIOLATE THE US CONSTITUTION.

AT&T spied on all US citizens for the NSA, something that requires a warrant.

Notice Bush only mentions phone calls coming into the US from overseas. AT&T cataloged every call, email, Internet activity and even web searches made by all US citizens, foreign and domestic, who were customers of all Internet and phone companies.

The NSA does most of the spy work for the US Government.

Mark Klein, now retired from AT&T, blew the whistle and sought to sue them.
