Yah they can be but they just absolutely have the most wonderful temperment...Dont eat tons...gentle with kids and cats..VERY trainable cause of the bird dog in them..no slobbers all over..wonderful with other dogs! I sure do love them to death!

Well we only got that one crazy burst...perfect for their first snow! It was 17 below that morning...they would not go in the snow again for about 3 weeks till it was almost completely melted! CHICKENS! LOL
