I keep thinking that. Richard was totally overlooked. If you listen to Pink Floyd carefully you realize how the piano in the background binds all of the music together, like weaving a web. Richard Wright was amazing, with his vocals as well. ECHOES and US AND THEM. Lets not forget SEE SAW and REMEMBER A DAY. RIP, Rick. You are being sorely missed. :(

@sloftin76 Yeah it makes you wonder. Maybe he just hit the wrong thing. No one could be that dumb or on sec thought some people think 3 rd rate bands like grand funk are on par with the Floyd , Zep , Purple etc. Yes there are plenty of morons out there but thanks to the Genius of Richard , Roger , Dave , Nick and of course Syd we have much better lives because of the music.

God, we miss you so much, buddy. You were one of the world's few musical geniuses. I cry every time I think of how we were all robbed of you too soon. I just can't think you enough for all that you did with Pink Floyd. It was perfect, you are perfect, and you will never be forgotten. Without you, Rick, Pink Floyd would've been another get up like the Rolling Stones. You really gave them that "Pink Floyd Sound" that we all know and love, and I don't think I can thank you enough for that, Rick.
