Maybe another fine example of somebody saying something at a certain time and many believing in it - sound familure?lol and who said Mayan's were extinct? it is well known that there is still Mayan Elders even in this day and age.
Let me give you an example of somebody saying something and then people taking it to heart - 1958, they first made contact, again in 1969, the US government was told to get us ready for 2012 as this is a new shift in universal harmonics, who will believe me? some!

do not be too judgmental about the subject.. nothing in earth is kept for a long time without a purpose, no story have been told that has no reference. How could one tell something about something without even knowing anything? It is logical to say that one has experience with the subject before He can ever write a story about it, right "Plato"? :)) Like it if you agree.

The great thing about Archaeology is that you can add "that we know of" to any statement. There's no record of Atlantis before Plato... that we know of. There's no correlation between Mayan and Egyptian culture.... that we know of. I mean, they thought Troy was a mythic city. That is, until somebody found it. Just because we don't know things about the past doesn't mean those things didn't exist.

That there was no word or symbol for Atlantis before Plato "dreamed it up"? Bullshit. In Nahuatl (spoken by the Toltecs and Aztecs), "Atlantis" is "Aztlan" (see "Gateway to Atlantis" by Andrew Collins).
