The antonov is the biggest plane in the world in every way if they would put passengers seats in it it would probably take more passengers then the a380 and all those planes comes in right order exept in wingspan the spruce goose has the biggest wingspan of them all and is made out of wood so if this would be a wingspan compitition it would be like this 1hercules "spruce goose 2.antonov 255 3.airbus and so on
The reason why Spruce goose isn't considered a real "airplane" is because it never left ground effect. It probably can but it never any reason to. They weren't trying to break a record the were only trying to make profit from the American Army and since the war was over they had no reason. The only flight the plane had was testflight
