At least 22 candidates who thought they had registered for the KCSE examination are a disappointed lot after they were denied access to the exam room. The students from a school in Nairobi were informed that their names were not on the official list from the examinations council. NTVs Gladys Mutiso reports on the drama on day one of the examinations and the tight rules the candidates have to observe.
quite sad.

I DO NOT SEE WHY IT SHOULD TAKE A WHOLE YEAR TO RETAKE AN EXAM ----WASTING TIME

i think the school should be held accountable, it is them who register stutents for the KNEC.
how comes in the last minute is when they discover that names are missing.
knec is also too strigent..there should be a reasonable alternative to help such students, eg by giving them alternative papers.

Repeat, I hope they understand what the kids will undergo to repeat, then the parents have to pay school fees another year, this should not happen.

You must be a buffoon yourself if you think people should not express their views because it does not help the kids.
