The third of Jessie MissKelley's confessions.
This particular confession took place on February 19th 1994 (nearly a year after the murder of three innocent 8 year old boys).

jesus christ, Jessie's own lawyer advises him not to talk and Jessie goes ahead and does it anyway, Right then and there he had the chance to shut up right away. But Jessie still confesses. He's not retarted. He knows what he is doing because he says "He wants something done about it" He's gulty and he knows it. What is so hard to understand about this. No coercion involved here.

Right. Lots of other things too but yes, you are correct.

I suspect you were not intially a supporter - you just were probably impartial. See you can see it - but imagine how difficult it must be for a supporter who relied soley on the word of others (or Paraidse Lost) - it would be very difficult now. Denial, dissonance and anger would replace logic.

I mean they can hardly admit they got it wrong now can they - not after freeing them. Just hope Echols doesn't kill again.

I realise my closing comment may have sounded dramatic - but actually it's not. The people that committed those crimes on those poor children must have enjoyed it (like Echols said himself in court.). Like Echols said "they (funny he used plural) wouldn't have done if they didn't enjoy it" (when under cross examination during the trial.
