@TheBlueResistance My Gen stands for My Generation Night which is a show Taylor University puts on every year. 60 something bands try out for 12 spots in the show. Everyone plays covers of songs that were made from our birth to present day.

That would have been cool to actually get the Cranberries or Blink 182 I bet. Do you guys have a small concert or music fest?
UW-Milwaukee has their Pantherfest (al though last year it was just Dashboard Confessional which was still decent). I go there next year :)

@TheBlueResistance We've been doing it for at least 10 years now, well before my time at school. Taylor is WAY to small for a music fest, but we get some cool indie bands like Bon Iver and Anathallo to come by every once in awhile.
