FUN FACT: The Timberline Lodge (the setting of this story) is what Stanley Kubrick used for the exterior shots of the haunted Overlook Hotel in his movie, The Shining. I say "exterior shots" because indeed that is all it was. The inside of the Overlook was actually just a series of sets built on sound-stages over in London.
