Dragonfly naiad, Red-spotted newt, Psorophora ciliata (predacious mosquito larva), Toxorhynchites rutilus (predacious mosquito larva)

All of these predators feed on mosquito larvae in their natural habitats. Mosquitoes are an important part of the food chain as aquatic larvae AND flying, biting adults. Adult [flying] dragonflies are one of the largest predators of both adult and larval mosquitoes!
