Agreed. The pouges, while a good band, have NEVER been traditional. This reminds me somewhat of the Irish Rovers, far more traditional than the pouges, but still with a modern twist

The fiddler's pretty good, but the rest of the band I could do without. A dumbek is a very poor substitute for a bodhran, and the drummer is really overdoing it. Also, tossing in the Rakes of Mallow in between every chorus just doesn't help.

Let me get this straight: you're suggesting a punk band like the pogues as an example of "traditional" Irish musig?
Learn a bit more about a subject before making such a fool of yourself.

Don't like this bands style at all, if you want to hear a great version of Irish rover with an edge listen to the Pogues sing it!! I'm Irish and I have no idea why you would want to call this 'Traditional Irish music' it's not.
