  • This version is a bit different than the original... but it still rocks :) Purple Motion is a genius!

  • Yep, it's from his musicdisk. :) It's remakes of his classic tunes in a modern tracker.

  • For me, this song is masterpiece of computer generated music. Absolutely amazing.

  • @LifeWaste1618 Yeah this is more like a modern pop-song and certainly doesn't have the flow of the original; too predictable, too many breaks and funny enough the additional expression on the intruments makes it sound more like it repeats itself.

  • Masterpiece! Remaking these old track tunes is a must.

  • A great song! :D

  • @zaelie this is pm's own version... there a lot of live symphony orchestra stuff by him on youtube. just google by his real name jonne valtonen !

  • I still think the original s3m are better.

It's not the modern tracker that makes it sound different, it's just the modern style. Stretch ups, ambience, channel stops, some sweeps and somewhat different samples.

A modern tracker offers more possibility, but only a modern mind would create something like this. Play the original S3M in FTII, S3, MT or MiT, it'll sound the same.

  • Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the musicdisk? I can't find it anywhere to buy it, and I can't find it anywhere to download...

  • I'm surprised Starshine didn't get no. 1. I've listened to Ice Frontier and it's good, but neither of these stand up to the sheer awesomeness of this song. Of course that's all my opinion, but still...

  • @zaelie Necros released a couple albums under the name Alpha Conspiracy and is now a member of Iris.

  • 1983!!!!!

  • sweet version. whatever happened to pm, necros and shit? they were musicians by heart so I assume they're in the industry now producing or something
