Our eleven year old son, Ryan, found himself trapped on the face of Eagle Rock in Topanga Canyon, was rescued by a Los Angeles Fire Department helicopter. Thanks guys!!!

Ryan had been climbing up and down all day, but in this case he slid down the face of the rock to that ledge and could not get purchase to climb back up. And the county did NOT bill us at all. The just wrote Ryan's name and age on a scale of paper and flew off. The dispatcher, when she said a helicopter was coming instead of a ranger with a rope, told us the copter team liked the action. worked for me.
