Captain Beefheart is weird,that doesn't mean he's not fun and kinda cool just that he's also weird. Most unique and original guy in the biz,definitely he wasn't trying to copycat anybody.
Whomever posted this vid is a moron though,this footage is from "Late Night with David Letterman" not "Late Show".
I realize the difference seems small but Late Show implies this appearance was more recent and on CBS. Kinda throws ya off when ya see such descriptions.

i'm not american, i'm not a letterman fan, and i live in another part of the world where nobody cares who letterman is or if he was on CBS, NBC or on top of an intern, that makes me a moron i guess, i'm interested on beefheart. but i'll change the title so your whole life doesn't crumble.
