That guitar I believe is a 70's Alvarez 12 string, thin necks with large bodies they are good for open tuning which you can see Dave is probably in (Note the Capo) so I'm not 100% but I am a luthier and that is most likely an Alvarez.

I was at CBGB's. It was a TINY place! The joke was that the Pogo was started there because it was the only way you could dance in such close quarters.
