price is a reflection of suppy and demand. one need only start a company to compete with the above company and produce the jetpack cheaper to bring the price down. so get started!

you've got to start somewhere. the Wright Brother's first "manned" flight was only 10 seconds.

@joeglimmix they run on hydrogen peroxide which is about a dollar a pint so ya. for now, rich people only. but they are still developing better models so I see a lot of hope in this project.

it took them 40 years to take a technology that was all ready created and expand the fly time by 20 seconds? I'm sorry but thats BS. Why not take 1 million dollars and invest it in research and development to find a new technology verses trying to find a more efficient way to extend fly time... thats like taking a wheel barrow and adding another wheel... oh great now i have two wheels...verses one.

@joeglimmix when you're ub the air or watching someone flying in the air for 33 seconds, or 45 seconds is a long time brotha,when you're careening through the air, above-land, albiet could be longer. I'll be screaming my ass off inside!!!!!

It's kind of sad the lack of progress in the field of jetpacks, the only improvement has been 24 seconds of flight time in 50 years.
I guess scientists are too busy devising pharmaceutical cash cows and building bigger bombs.
