I'm just a casual Batman fan, but have to admit that this Battle for the Cowl story really caught my interest so I'm reading the main Cowl story and decided to read this two-parter. I thought it was a fun read, certainly not hard to follow and very introspective with respect to the villans. Like Chad mentions, its hard to separate fact from fiction in this two-part series. His mother in the end is telling him to just let go and I guess he does and we all know how it ended. I enjoyed it.

Good stuff in the World of fiction. The great thing about these comics is that they (the writers) try to make it as real as possible or at least within the theme. Good to use as a theme for other interest in life.
