  • This studio space is almost empty...I have moved out after 10 years, and will hopefully have my painting set-ups going by the middle of January in a new space. Will keep you posted!

  • Thanks, Gilda for sharing your studio and your work...that's how it should look like in an art studio....I love your work...great inspiration♥

  • Hi Gilda. Your studio is awesome!!! I was wondering how do you make your wax? Would you be able to write the recepie for it? I am using the waxs from the shop and they are so expensive therefore would like to make my own. Thank youuuu

  • Hi Gilda! I am in the process of learning how to use the encaustic medium, and was wondering what medium you use to mix the oil paints into. Do you make your own medium with wax and resin? If so, where would you say is the best place to purchase it? I will try using just oil paint (as I always have that handy) and that will help cut the cost for me which is important. Thanks!

  • What an awesome studio and I really love your work. I see alot of great pieces in there. You need to have a one woman show. You would rock it!

  • At 2:19 I can distinctly see a wizard disguised as a squirrel.

  • Gilda! Wow, thank you for sharing your everything. I've only been involved in encaustic for the last 3 or 4 years, painting like 7, and had my mother now for 45 years. I figure never apologize for ones studio's condition.
