  • I'm not sure but I don't think this car would have had syncro mesh gears back in 1931.. Our 1925 Morris certainly doesn't! Instead you have to double de' clutch while changing up and down, and rev the engine while doing so on the way down. This is called rev matching, where the revs of the engine matches the speed of the wheels and hence the gearbox so that the gear can be easily selected without it crunching like he did...

  • It's amazing how ignorant most of the people whom comment on here really are,no wonder why this country is where it is today,it blows my mind that this is what will be running/or ruining this country someday.

  • these guys piss me off so much. "79 year old million dollar car with a bad clutch.peice of crap lets sell it.." seriously i know guys who would give their kidneys to drive this beast and these idiots treat it like some common as dog shit corvette.seriously how some respect for the machine at hand.its a miracle they lasted this long and in the condition that some of these hundred year old cars are in.

  • he sounds exactly like jamie hyneman

  • you people have alot to learn about cars i have a 93 cavalier Z24 for 2 years the only problem i had so far was a belt tensioner and the headliner but that is because i was lucky. I also have an 89 too but that one had 15 problems in 2 years parts in cars go when they go toyota cadillac chevrolet all the same to me its a car get it?

  • @UFCextra chevrolet is my favorite but cadillac is good

    what cadillacs do you have?

  • @kreigsmann lol in my opinion, no other automaker has made better cars than Cadillac . And I'm not black or hip hop either. ALL Caddys for me for life . I don't like any other GM products, but Cadillac I will buy continuously . If I didn't buy Cadillac I would buy BMW or Benz 2nd

  • @UFCextra that is very true the boats i saw were all used and maintained by women

but cadillac engineering in its history has had some bad mistakes anyone eho knows cadillacs knows that

like the diesel 350 they made in the 80s or the 4.1v8 that lasted no more than 10,000 miles.

or the fact that cadillac has made some horribly unnecessarily heavy cars.

2 doord eldorados weighing several thousand pounds probably getting 4mpg

now i do like cadillac alot but they arent perfect

  • @kreigsmann well then what you saw was someone who bought a shitty used Cadillac or someone who poorly maintained it. All of my Cadillac's are 20+ years old and they ALL still run like the day they came out of the factory, because I took proper care and maintained them. I'm serious, Cadillac's will last literally forever. They are the most reliable, durable and best made cars of any other manufacturer in the world. BTW my Caddys mileage ranges from 210K-350K miles

  • @UFCextra no

its a cadillac so something will go wrong no matter what

cadillacs look good but they brake just as much as any cheap economy car.

ive seen 50k$ cadillacs less than 5 years old have serious mechanical problems most cars under 20 years old never have.

cadillac has a terrible history but the best looking cars.
