my mom and grandma aren from Thailand and I am honorary 1/2 Thai and so proud of my Thai roots. Every time they hear this they would start crying, its an old song but makes them think of home. I am only 16 and was born in UK but I love my country which is Thailand.

*sigh* i'm not thai but my boyfriend is kinda...he was born in thailand but he's wat everyone calls 'MTT' aka "Hmong Thai (Teb)" so he's hmong thai of course...he would always talk in thai to me whenever i ask him and it sounds so sweet....i luv him...i'm hmong american/lao by da way...my parents were born in Laos....so i'm kinda 2% Lao not thai though....then 98% american hmong.....but he's full hmong Thai..came to da US when he's about 16...still speak thai, hmong, and sum english...luv him

You are not thai but how come you can speak and listen to Thai music. Are you Thai/American?

Just plain American. But my wife is Thai, and I lived and taught English in Thailand for 3 years in the early 90s. As for the music, I like good music, wherever it comes from - and I recognized at the time that this music was really good.
