Dedicated to two fully paid up members of the Big Ball Striking Union:

PaulLongBall (Paul Cooper)
KiloKaiGolf (Kai)

The video is of Blackwood Golf Course, Bangor, Co. Down, Northern Ireland on a rainy day in July, 2008. (Our Summer)

Big Ball Striking captured on 18th Tee. Don't let the rain stop you from hitting a Big Ball, keep your hands and gloves as dry as possible and remember to stay relaxed on the practice swing. Make sure on the backswing the club doesn't go beyond horizontal and maintain your weight on your right side. (No reverse pivoting)

Swing with a good, even tempo, don't hurry or try to muscle the ball further.

Remember, golf is all about rotation, make sure you rotate your right forearm over your left on the follow through.

Then the clouds will break and the sun will shine through.

  • Hey Paul, that ball still has not come back into shape lol! There is a road at the back of the tee but it is not as loud as the camera made out, usually I get someone to stop the traffic haha! I loved you little poem, a bit of a tongue twister. Thanks for your comment paul, sadly the ball only went 299 yards WOW! ;)

  • Wow! Billy, you knocked the cover off that ball! what a sweet sound at contact, had to go at least 300 yards!

    The rain went pitter patter

Now it's the putter that will matter
