I hate Mel Gibson, and the fact that so many people blame the Jews is disgusting. Jesus WAS a Jew!

Respect for what? It's just a story, like Harry Potter or Clash of the Titans. As drama it works pretty well, I guess, but it's not supposed to be taken as fact, despite what Gibson intended. I always found it funny that god has a son; what is this, Bonanza? Weird. So I guess the big god tears hitting the ground are supposed to be causing the earthquake, is that it?

Okaaaay; what exactly can I see for myself? All I can see in the movie is that Mel Gibson thought an earthquake happened after the guy croaked on the cross. Where do the "tears" come into it? Just curious.

@NeloArc I'm agnostic who comes from Catholic and Mormon families. I know that people look at a few Jewish priests and the Romans they answer to, and try to pin their crimes on the ENTIRE Jewish people. It's disgusting.
