Interesting, but... the dark lyrics and the happy-go-lucky video just don't go together. =\

The final idea for this video came from the director, Brian Hallett, not Alana. She wrote the song because she found herself becoming "addicted" to many things such as sugar (hence the cupcake/baking sequence) shoes, make-up, video games, etc and saw this trait in many around her. Alana's original idea was simply to show her addiction to these things. The director wanted a more complete story line and created this "happy-go-lucky" video. I

These boots were made by Puma and came in white, black and gold at the time. I think they were purchased about 5 years ago in New York. Alana still has them.
