It's an illusion; it's a two dimensional figure spinning, your mind can give it three dimensional shape and make ti appear to spin to a given direction.

she izz moving in a clockwise direction but the shadow sat the bottom is moving in a counter clockwise direction and that gives the illusion she is moving counter clockwise

she always goes clockwise for me, its like her whole body is leaning to turn only in that direction. I keep trying to get her to go counter...i must be totally right brained! lol

I've looked into this now. She isn't even completely spinning, just moving back and forth. It's an illusion - pause it and there is always 2 ways of looking at the image.
