The Australian Capital Territory (ACT) was established in 1911 to create a capital for the newly federated country of Australia. Some 2330 square kilometres (900 square miles) was set aside, 53 per cent of which today remains nature park or reserve.

@MySnoopy11 Good move. ANU is a very reputable university. It is very easy to get a part time job in Canberra. You can get part time jobs at a lot of restaurants in the City Centre, Dickson or Woden areas. If that doesn't take your fancy, you can also drive taxis or possibly even hire cars part time.
