Detailed Ver XD: A couple of months ago Nova had another one of his weird ideas...he told Usachii "why don't we upload three duets at once?" There wasn't any other reason than thinking that it would be cool to attempt three completely different genres simultaneously and reach such an arbitrary goal. But yeah, the dude is strange...and apparently Usachii is not entirely normal either, cause she agreed.
So here we are with all 3 covers finished. Doing this involved frequent and mutual feedback, hard work and keeping our enthusiasm during the whole process. Fortunately, We did have a great time and it helped us improve on many aspects.
Jihaku:
This was the "rock song" of the bunch. I've known this one for quite a long time and I've always wanted to cover it. Fortunately when I showed it to Usachii she liked it as much as me. What I really liked about singing Jihaku is how powerful it feels, since normally the male vocalist has to sing in an uncomfortable low key or just modify the original's pitch. Here, that wasn't necessary and I think the final result is something I'm very satisfied with. I recommend you guys to listen the rest of the Centralia Album (this song is included in it), it's pretty cool.
