Finians Rainbow

This was my first time on stage performing in my schools musical...i've never had vocal training...and i am singing "How are Things in Glocca Morra" from finians rainbow....in the second 1/2 i am dancing...i am supposed to be the image of what the 2nd song is about..the second song is sung by my friend lissie and she is singing "Look to the Rainbow"...and sry for the logo across the screen i was using an unregistered video editor....

in the higher notes your voice is sort of shrill. you have a nice tone, but lack proper control and technique. there are many ways you can improve. by listening to professional singers you could easily get better in a short amount of time. really focus your sound more, making it smoother, instead of sort of disconnecting when you get to the top notes of a phrase, etc. but i do think you are a good singer, and have an excellent foundation to start really working with

This was my first time on stage so i was obviously very nervous. This was also over a year ago and since then i have been taking lessons to train my voice to sing classically. And the high notes have been worked out. Thank you for the comment though. I do appreciate the feedback.

You have a gorgeous voice! Finian's Rainbow was our Senior Class Play. We are celebrating our 30 year reunion in 2 weeks (OMG!). I just had to tell you what a beautiful voice you have and I thoroughly enjoyed listing to your talent!

Pretty good. Training would be your next step, I think. A good teacher will bring out all you have to give. Even Beverly Sills had training.
