Kodak Zi8 driving test in 1080p

Here's a drive through my hometown: Purmerend
in The Netherlands to test out the correct
placement of my Kodak Zi8 Full_HD Cam in my cars interior to film the outside world :)

I attached it to the back of my rearview mirror and it gave better stability than when I used a suction-nap holder
attached to the window but it is still not completely
free of shaking albeit alot better :)

The weather was murky and rainy and it was close to getting dark so you'll see a nice glow of the tail lights of the cars. ENJOY THE RIDE !

How did u put the camera there? Did u use tape or something like that? Or do u have something special to mount it to the mirror?

I used a camera bag and let the Zi8 stick out of it (the part where the lens is) and used 2 rubber bands (the big ones used by the Post) and wrapped them around the mirror while the cam was on its back with the lens almost against my cars window.

I am desperately in need of help. Basically....

I just purchased my kodak zi8 yesterday and it says it comes with the media compressor in the camera once you plug the usb into your pc.I did at first and it came up,so i naturally try to install it on my computer,but it was giving me problems and didn't upload it.So i tried it again,but i can't find the media compressor anywhere on my computer or the camera,Can you please help?

when you connect the camera with its USB plug to your computer you will see a new CD-rom driveletter in 'my computer' and if you double click that you will see an ICON with the name MI and if you double click that the ArcSoft Media Impression program installs again. Hope this helps !

heheh ik zag het. ik heb het maar weggegooid dan :) voor dit filmpje heb ik geen statief gebruikt maar heb ik de camera half uit een camera tasje stekend met 2 dikke elastieken aan de achterkant van mijn achteruitkijkspiegel bevestigd. Eerst had ik hem in een houder zitten waaraan een buigzame steel zit met zuignap (zo'n ding waarmee je je telefoon of pda aan het raam kan hangen) maar dat trilde NOG meer.

Hoi Randy. bedankt voor je leuke reactie. ik woon ook 3/4e over de rotonde heen maar had juist wat van het einde van het filmpje afgeknipt omdat je nooit precies je adres op internet moet laten zien.
