@sonicteam2k1 Renegade Ops is fun as shit. I currently have the 4th highest leaderboard score on the first mission of the new DLC, mostly by complete accident. Watch it drop like a stone as more people play.

But yeah, good to see I'm not the only person reminded of the Strike series by RO, man. RO is a great game but the story is (successfully) played for laughs. I'd love to see a triple-A, RO-esque game with the mission depth of the Strike series.

Unsung classic. One thing that blew me away was that not only did *everything* in the game have its own FMV clip - every mission, enemy, item (ammo, fuel), etc - but those FMVs changed for each mission, to give the impression of a real briefing. Sometimes they'd change mid mission as you got new info. That is attention to detail.

I recently played 'Renegade Ops' which plays a lot like the Strike series but with gorgeous current-gen graphics. A new Strike game on that engine would be the tits.

Ah, the days when games relied on substance instead of fancy graphics. Brings back fantastic memories. Admittedly, Soviet Strike is the only game in this franchise I never played, but I absolutely loved the rest.
